Pilgrimage to Seoul, South Korea
Led by Fr. Dan Ulmer, Fr. Joe Tokasz and Fr. Paul Cygan
Buffalo, NY
Open to Young Adults 21-39
August 1st – 10th, 2027
Answer the call to World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul and join young Catholics from every corner of the world for an unforgettable encounter with Jesus Christ and His universal Church. More than a journey across the globe, this is a sacred pilgrimage—a journey of faith that unites us with the Holy Trinity, The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Holy Father, the saints and angels, and millions of faithful believers who come together to celebrate the joy and hope of the Gospel.
Throughout this pilgrimage, you will experience the vibrant faith of the Catholic Church in Korea, praying at the shrines of its heroic martyrs and saints whose courageous witness continues to inspire the faithful today. Together we will celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, encounter deep prayer, receive the grace of the sacraments, and witness the beauty of the Church alive in every culture and language – all while making friends from around the world!
World Youth Day is much more than an event—it is an invitation from Christ to "Come and see" (John 1:39), to grow in holiness, and to discover more deeply your place within His Church. Whether you are a young adult, a family member, a priest, or a pilgrim accompanying the next generation, you will return home renewed in faith, strengthened by the communion of the Church, and inspired to live the Gospel with greater courage, hope, and love.
